Emma's First Snow

We have always loved snow and were anxiously awaiting it's arrival. We were like two little  kids. Every morning we would look out the window just to see if it had snowed and when we saw that it hadn't we were pretty bummed .  The first big snow storm came the Monday before Christmas which gave us plenty of time to enjoy it before we headed  to St. George on Christmas Eve.

It was fun get Emma out in the snow. When we first walked out she was real quite and was just looking around like she wasn't quite sure how to feel about it but after about a minute she got more into it.

At first when the falling snow would touch her face she would kind of blink funny and jerk her head a little then she started smiling. It was pretty cute to watch her take it all in or the first time.

That has to be one of my favorite things about having a baby, getting to watch her learn things and everything, EVERYTHING fascinates her. It's such a pleasure to watch her enjoy life so much.

Cody's mom had just sent us the cute little coat and I just had to take pictures of her in it because she looks so cute! I also love her boots and try to make them work with as many outfits as possible! Thank you dearest Katy!

In these pictures she is sitting on the back of our car. The snow was pretty deep so it put her up kind of high but I think she liked it.

She did NOT like when her hands would touch the snow. It made her cry and us laugh.

This little girl sure loves her dad and I'm pretty sure he feels the same way. What do you think?

She really liked standing in the snow.

I love her cheeks in these pictures

We had  fun playing in the snow as a family.
Such good times!
