Emma's First Easter ~ 2011~

Easter was a lot of fun .  We got to spend lots of time with our families this trip which was really nice plus this was Emma's very first Easter and she was pretty cute.

The way we "share" holidays in my family is the day before Easter and Christmas Eve is spent with our family and then the actual day of celebration is with the in-law families but Thanks Giving we alternate years. It works out so perfectly!!! We have never had a conflict and there is equal time for both sides of family. Cody and I really like that it works out so well.

Saturday was the Cluff Easter Egg Hunt. It was super fun to be around all the little kids and see how excited they all were. Well maybe not the older boy teens so much they are in the "I don't like to show I really enjoy or care about stuff" stage, but the others were super cute.

Here is a list of things that we did:
- Our friends th/ the Lees loaned us their bubble machines and a bubble stick. The kids had so much fun  playing with them , especially little miss Ivy. Cody and I played bubbles with her for a very long time and you know what? I think we might have had just as much, if not more fun than she did.
-We ate lots of yummy food like hamburgers and oreos
-While helping hide Eggs Cody and I caught the cutest little tiny frogs and showed them to the little kids they loved them! Too bad we didn't get any pictures.
-We played some volley ball
-The boys played some basket ball
- And OF COURSE we hunted for eggs.

The next day we headed to the park to meet up with the Heimberger side of the family. We had a lot of fun taking pics of Aspen and Emma. Poor Aspen wasn't very happy though. After taking lots of cute pics we went to Mama H's house and ate more delicious food and talked and had tons of fun.
She looks so much like my niece Taiha in this picture.

Katy's Cute little cove!

Emma and Cove play so well together and always have the best time.

I love this picture SO much. She kept putting her face on the net and giving me the funniest little smiles.

I am getting lots better at making sure
I am in some pictures too.

She was being SO wiggly I had a hard time holding on to her.  I think she wanted to get down.

Aunt Kim and Emma. Emma loves to slap peoples chests. I love that that is what she is doing in this picture. as annoying as it can be , its just one of hose things I don't want to forget she did ALL THE TIME!

Cody has a mouth full of Oreo in this picture :)

Cody and I love our random family shots. I don't think Emma feels the same...

Getting ready fro the Egg Hunt.
Emma /Daddy , Ivy and Colby lined up ready to start hunting for eggs.

Emma just eanted to take off as soon as her feet touched the ground. The little kids thought it was funny but I also think they were a little worried that she was getting a head start. I was cute.

Emma's first ever Easter egg. Every egg that she picked up she tried to throw into her basket. She started doing it all on her own too. It was pretty funny to watch. Not going to lie, we ended up with quite a few broken eggs.

Volley ball with the fam.

Easter Morning she was kinda ornery and didn't really want to touch her basket stuff.

Mostly the basket was full of stuff for mom and dad :)

Braving a touch...

Emma and Aspen! Love the bunny Ears! Thank you aunt Traci.

  1. Hey I have that same flower outfit for Cami! I can't believe how BIG Emma is getting, and I still can't get over all of that hair. She's just adorable. Aren't holidays so much more fun with a kid now?!
